What we do

BaltCap provides flexible and timely equity financing for companies with a strong link to the Baltic States, tailored to meet the specific needs and timing requirements of each investment situation. Through our funds we have invested in businesses at different stages of development, ranging from early stage to pre-IPO, including buy-out and consolidation deals. We do not participate in hostile take-overs nor provide debt financing. 

We seek companies with a clearly defined strategy supported by reputable and professionally excellent management teams or enterpreneurs who are truly committed to enhance the value of their business for the benefit of all the shareholders.

Post-investment, BaltCap becomes an active shareholder and participates in the management of the company via a council or board seat. Our local investment professionals are involved with the portfolio companies on a regular basis and work with management to identify long-term strategic goals as well as support development and expansion of the business. In addition, we have an extensive network of experts that our portfolio companies can tap into when a specific need arises. As investors and shareholders we want to maximise the value growth of the investee company. BaltCap aims to create strong working partnership with the management and other shareholders of the investee companies and seeks complete alignment of interest with its partners.
