BaltCap Latvia is the first venture capital fund manager to successfully complete private fundraising under EIF managed JEREMIE initiatives in Europe.

Aggregate available financing to Latvian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises will be up to EUR 30m. The fund will provide start-up and expansion financing to companies with exceptional growth potential taking equity stakes between EUR 0.3 - 3m with the aim to build a diversified portfolio of 15-20 investments.

The Fund will focus on manufacturing, services, energy, information technologies and other sectors underdeveloped by EU standards.

EIF managed JEREMIE Holding Fund will provide EUR 20m of the overall Fund size and EUR 10m will be raised from leading local institutional and private investors, including Parex Asset Management, Hipo Fondi, LKB Krajfondi, Pirmais Slegtais Pensiju Fonds and private individuals.
