Liudas joined Baltcap in 2017. Previously he worked in state-owned enterprise Lietuvos energija as a Head of Market Analysis and Regulatory Affairs. He was involved in development of the biomass, waste to energy, wind farm and M&A projects. Before Lietuvos energija Liudas worked in private sector and was a CEO or adviser in several wind farms in Lithuania.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Vilniaus Gediminas University of Technology.
BaltCap Growth Fund (BGF) has signed the shareholder agreement to become a significant shareholder in KOOL Latvia with an approximate 30% stake. In return, KOOL Latvia, a newly developed local petrol and convenience store chain will obtain higher growth capital, enabling the company to accelerate further expansion.
BaltCap has entered into an agreement to sell its 54% holding in InMedica to BGSF Sanus, subsidiary of Invalda INVL. InMedica is a leading chain of primary care and specialized outpatient clinics in Lithuania with 18 clinics in seven cities.
BaltCap Infrastructure Fund (BInF) has acquired 70% of shares in biomass combined heat and power plant in Riga region from Latvian company AS ENERGOECO. Highly efficient woodchip-fired CHP plant started to operate in October 2017, capital expenditure for building and launching the plant was €17 million. The transaction is expected to close after receiving competition clearance.
